1. Using Acefy Architecture

These terms apply to Acefy Architecture at architecture.acefy.one, an architecture design, diagramming, prototyping, and AI-assisted architecture tool for C4 Architecture, System Design, and Sequence diagrams. By using the service or creating an account, you agree to these terms. The Privacy Policy explains the related data processing.

Acefy Architecture is independently developed and currently available for free, subject to feature, storage, and usage limits. Optional financial support does not unlock features, a subscription entitlement, membership, or a service commitment. Any future paid offering would need its own clearly stated terms.

2. Accounts and your responsibilities

You can start diagrams without an account. Account features include private cloud saves and AI Guided Architecture Draft. Provide accurate account information, protect your password, and use only accounts you are authorized to access. You are responsible for your activity and for obtaining permission to use any content you submit.

Keep your own exports and backups. Local saves depend on the original browser and its storage; unsaved edits are not a backup. Do not place credentials, personal data, or confidential architecture in content unless you have authority to handle it and have assessed the storage, sharing, and AI processing involved.

3. Your diagrams and intellectual property

You retain your rights in the diagrams, architecture descriptions, AAL source, and other content you create or supply. You give Acefy permission to process that content as needed to provide the features you choose, including cloud saving, sharing, and AI drafting. This does not transfer ownership of your content to Acefy.

Acefy’s branding, application, documentation, and original materials remain subject to their respective intellectual property rights. Third-party icons, libraries, and other materials remain subject to their own licenses. Do not remove required attribution or use the service to infringe another person’s rights. AI output may resemble other output; exclusive rights or non-infringement are not guaranteed.

4. AI suggestions need your review

AI Guided Architecture Draft generates a first draft from your description, instructions, and optional reference image. Review and refine every result. Syntax validation does not establish that a design is technically correct, production-ready, secure, compliant, complete, or appropriate for your circumstances.

You remain responsible for engineering decisions, testing, security reviews, regulatory checks, and deployment. Do not rely on AI output as professional advice or as a replacement for qualified review. AI generation is subject to verification, quotas, and availability limits.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Acefy for unlawful activity, infringement, harassment, or distributing harmful content. Do not attempt unauthorized access, probe other users’ projects, bypass sharing passwords or security verification, circumvent quotas, or disrupt the service through abusive automation or excessive requests.

Acefy may limit or suspend access to address abuse, security risks, or legal obligations. Where practical, we will provide an explanation; urgent protective action may come first.

Current sharing uses unlisted, password-protected links rather than a public diagram directory. Only share content you have permission to disclose. Anyone who obtains both the link and password can view and export the complete shared project, including its available views and source; recipients can redistribute those copies.

Guest sharing uploads a separate snapshot that expires after 20 days and has no account-based management controls. Account sharing uses a cloud-saved project and can expose later cloud saves through the same link. Revoking a link or changing its password cannot recall exports or erase content already delivered to a recipient. Publicly posting a link and its password effectively opens access to that audience.

7. Availability and third-party services

Acefy may change features, limits, or these terms, or discontinue the service. The updated date identifies the current version. We will seek to give reasonable notice of significant changes where practical, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or permanent storage. Export important work regularly.

The service relies on third parties, including Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare Turnstile, OpenAI, and Resend. Optional support links may lead to PayPal or Xendit. Their availability and applicable terms can affect the features they provide. Review the provider’s checkout terms, including recurring support cancellation, before paying.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Acefy is provided as available, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of diagrams or AI output. We cannot promise that errors, data loss, or service interruptions will never occur.

To the extent permitted by law, Acefy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or losses arising from reliance on an unreviewed design. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer or privacy rights. These terms do not impose a blanket waiver of those rights.
