Refinement without changing execution
Message labels overlap their horizontal lines. Their icons identify message type; optional protocol text adds a cable icon. Select a label for text and appearance controls; drag horizontally along the line. Vertical spacing offset moves the message within its reserved row. Use Move earlier/later for an intentional semantic reorder instead.
Inspector groups expose only relevant controls. Background palettes adapt to light/dark mode and select contrasting automatic text. Custom hex colors are fixed overrides; Use automatic colors restores theme-aware behavior. Label background has its own palette. Sequence lines stay static while editing. In presentation, selecting an interaction highlights both endpoint headers in light blue and animates the selected line. Repeated bottom headers highlight too. Clear the selection to remove the highlight. Reduced motion keeps the static highlight without animation; exports preserve authored appearance.
Choose Headers → Top and bottom for repeated identities on long diagrams. Balanced density is the default; Compact and Spacious change spacing. Resize fragment padding without excluding its contents. Auto Layout clears the selected sequence’s geometry overrides but keeps styles; Reset Appearance keeps geometry.
The former event list is replaced by contextual actions and Reveal in source. AAL remains authoritative, and every visual semantic action uses the same validated clone/edit/serialize flow. Copy/paste assigns fresh IDs, clones owned details, and checks depth before committing.
